Flowering Trees

Shade trees not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of a property, but they also reduce the impact of the scorching sun, improve air quality, and increase your property value.

Evergreen trees not only provide year-round beauty, but they also act as natural barriers. You get privacy, noise reduction and peace.

By buying fruit trees, you can enjoy fresh and organic fruits that are free from pesticides and additives. Growing your own fruit is easy and can save you thousands.

Flowering trees brighten your landscape and mood. These trees attract pollinators and wildlife to your yard while providing a sweet fragrance.

Proper Tree Planting Tips

1. Choose the right species for your location: Before planting a tree, research which tree species are suitable for your climate, soil type, and available space. This will ensure that the tree grows healthy and strong in its new environment.

2. Mark where you want the tree center and dig a wide hole: When planting a tree, dig a hole that is at least twice as wide as the root ball. This will help the roots spread out and establish themselves more quickly.

3. Water the tree thoroughly: After planting the tree, water it deeply to help settle the soil and provide moisture for the roots. Water regularly during the first year to help the tree establish itself.

4. Use mulch to conserve moisture: Apply a layer of organic mulch around the base of the tree to help conserve moisture, suppress weeds, and regulate soil temperature.

Why is Tree Center So Important?

The tree center is the first year of growth. It’s the center that all the rings form around.

Get off to a quick, healthy start and you’ll have a straighter healthier tree.

1.  Pick a tree that has a well developed root system that is not root bound.

2. Water every day the first week of planting then gradually decrease your watering schedule.

3. Apply fertilizer at the right time. For most trees, the best time to fertilize is in the early spring before new growth appears. Avoid fertilizing during drought or extreme temperatures.

4. Mulch around the tree’s center but don’t pile mulch on the trunk itself.

5. Keep weeds and grass as far away from the tree as you can. They compete for valuable moisture and nutrients.

6. Keep lawn equipment from nicking the bark, so your tree does not have to use up energy healing rather than growing.
